Bus Journey Of Karachi – Every Travel Becomes Memorable

Whenever you ask from the residence of the biggest city of Pakistan that how is the journey by bus in Karachi then people have different opinions. Someone say so difficult and tough, someone say that they enjoy this journey [I am also one of them ;-)]. Because you know people who are traveling in the buses of Karachi from a long time, now have accustomed and been very familiar with it. Because due to the condition of transport in Karachi, your every travel always becomes memorable :-). I tell you some conditions which make bus travel of Karachi exceptional from others.

First of all majority knows that the government has not set up a proper transport system in Karachi so far. The buses plying on the roads which you see are all private transport and the whole system is totally under custody of private transport union. Almost all the buses are in the model of 1970 (especially big buses that are called “Bed Ford”). They are still plying now which have completed their lives. Also, the condition of wagons and coaches are not so much different from big buses. Someone have teared silencer that becomes cause of air as well as noise pollution. The physical condition is also not so good. You know some buses have broken seats that affect the travel, leaking roofs that are big distress in rain, some windows without glass that increase that pain of public in winter season, etc.

After the condition, now I tell you some other different problems. Quantity of the buses is very less as compared to the public. That’s why you will find a huge crowd in the buses. Especially in the morning when people go and evening when they come back. Some people can’t get the bus just due to heavy load and crushing out. The people inside the bus are almost tied with each other. Whenever someone arrives to his destination then he quickly goes to the gate of the bus after crushing the huddled crowd that increases the suffering of others. Some bow up on the other’s foot then their argue starts which changes into fight sometimes. Traffic jam also plays a great role in the suffering of travelers. People tie in the bus many minutes (sometimes hours) and think that it will be a miracle if we arrive at home.

Star Line - one of the most crowded bus of Karachi
Private bus owners also have a rule that affects the poor public. They have token system and at some bus stop in their routes where one or two men related to this bus route sit. When the bus arrives there then drivers stop the bus, take the token from those men and talk to them. Bus stands till 5 to 15 minutes [I have experienced 20 minutes too :-)]. Public who want to arrive as soon as possible shout on the drivers that why are you standing we have to arrive early on duty or home. Then drivers start argues with them that we have a set time, before or after it, we can’t go. This argue also changes into fight sometimes. Also, one more problem is the increasing prices of petrol and diesel due to which transporters increase charges. This problem is also directly affecting the public. They argue with the conductor that sometimes changes into fight :-) So whenever you visit in the buses of Karachi then this visit will definitely be memorable for you :-)

So whatever the problem(s) with the Karachi transport, the one and only which suffered and affected from these is the poor public of Karachi. I have also faced these situations and still facing. I travel in the bus with huge mob, sometimes climbs on the fence put back of the bus as well as on a roof. I am also a common citizen of this city. Now I have familiar with these travels. We just need to change the whole system of transport. City District Government Karachi (CDGK) should take the system of transport in its hand. But probably it can’t be possible because private transport union has become very powerful in the city. So if CDGK can’t hand over the system then atleast can try to make it better for the facility of citizens after joining hands with private transport union. What do you say readers?

Simplicity – A Great Lesson Learned By Islam

Either it is 21st century or any other century, the world is always contained every type of people like super-rich, middle-class and the poverty-stricken. The great Allah has distributed aliment to the people according to His infinite erudition by giving some more than others. According to Him, this distribution is a test for every individual. Those people who have less luxuries have an indication that they turn to Allah and beg from Him to fulfill their needs. The rich and wealthy people have an indication that they thank to Allah for this wealth which is totally because of Him.

Our great religion Islam doesn’t deny a person to spend his life with all those luxuries which he can afford. But the matter is fact that our Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W) always taught to Sahaaba-e-Karaam (R.A.) to avoid too many luxuries. Not only He taught this simplicity lesson to Muslim Ummah but also He was himself a lifelike example of it. Allah offered to turn the mountains into gold for Hazrat Mohammad (S.A.W) but the life style which He selected for spending is that on many occasion, there was nothing available on His home to eat.

While adopting this simplicity himself, Hazrat Mohammad (S.A.W) also advised of simplicity to Sahaaba (R.A) as well. When he was dispatching Maaz Bin Jabal (R.A.A) as a Governor of Yemen then He give him several advices in which one was that: “Beware of hankering after comforts and luxuries for verily the true servants of Allah are not self-indulgent.” Also, at one time, Sahaaba (R.A) was talking about some worldly matters then Mohammad (S.A.W) addressed them, “Will you not listen? Will you not listen? Will you not listen? Verily simplicity is a part of Imaan. Verily simplicity is a part of Imaan. Verily simplicity is a part of Imaan”. (Abu Dawood).

So, in today’s world, where everything has been too much expensive and people always see the dreams that how can they become rich. In that situation, we should never leave the simplicity which is taught by our Holy Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (S.A.W). Always use that quantity of wealth due to which we can fulfill our basic living needs. Whenever this wealth is started to be over-flow, then it can make you arrogant. This is the reason where a human becomes greedy and leaves to Thank to Allah. Because his moto becomes only to earn more and more wealth. His desire is to become richer. So avoid too much wealth. Also, make your habit to give voluntary charity (Sadaqah) on the name of Allah. It is my personal experience that this Sadaqah will keep you save from too much love to your wealth, greediness and arrogancy.

My Experience To See Dabang-1 and 2 Of Eid-ul-Adha

Eid-Ul-Adha is one of the most important as well as special religious festivals of Muslim which is also called Bakra-Eid. On this great occasion, Muslims slaughter their domestic animals such as goat, sheep, cow, bulls, camel etc. This sacrifice of animals is a symbol of sacrifice made by Hazrat Ibraham (A.S) which is His Sunnah. This festival starts after the fifth pillar of Islam known as Hajj. The first day of Eid-Ul-Adha is celebrated on the tenth day of Duhl-Hijja, which is the last month of the Islamic year.

This year, Eid-Ul-Adha was on 16th November. On the night before (Chaand Raat), I went to shopping and some outing with my friends. Specially I went to see the most famous pair of bulls this year named Dabang-1 and Dabang-2 which were bought in Abid Town (Gulshan-e-Iqbal). They were really huge, wealthy and like a small mountain. I captured their some pictures from my cell. Take a look:

Due to the popularity of these two heavy weight Dabangs, people were coming in a huge quantity to see them. When I arrived there then on that time also a huge crowd was present. So I felt very uncomfortable while taking snaps. You can see that how much huge they are. When you saw live them then you can asses it. When I arrived there then on that time Dabang-1 was standing but Dabang-2 was sit. I said to the bull handler that stand out Dabang-2. He tried but Dabang-2 wasn’t stand. Probably he had tired.

So it was really a good experience to see the great pair of Dabang-1 and 2. I talked to the owner of these bulls and he told me that both cost 16 lac. These bulls were calm and quit. Never looked angry. Bull handler was present there to handle both. Around the tent, a boundary rope was put for the people who were coming to see them. So I can say that they were the biggest bulls which I ever saw live on this Eid-ul-Adha. According to people, the biggest bull of this year was “Red Bull” which was bought in Defense area. I saw his videos but didn’t see live. He was also great. Take a look:

Load Shading – Attached With Our Lives

Karachi, biggest city of Pakistan. Once upon a time, it was famous as city of lights. But now :-D what shall I say about that city of light??? And how can any person say that this is a city of light??? Where load shading is everywhere. At start, load shading hit the city only in summer. In winter, there was no load shading. After that, due to short-fall, old rot system of KESC, saving money due to not to buy furnace oil, the condition was keep destructing. Then load shading also started in winter in spite of the very small amount of load. Also, load shading didn’t hit the city on Sundays because of holiday but now, it has become an immortal part of every citizen’s life. The duration was 1 hour before, now increased to 1.5 hours. 7 days a week, 365 days a year load shading is brightening at every home. A person can forget to eat food but can’t forget load shading :-D People try to wind up their work and said, “oh come on, I have to finish the work because light will go out at 6 :-D.

When I collected information about it then I interviewed many people of the city and tried to know their opinion about load shading and KESC then almost all the people said that words about KESC and light system which is not able to write here :-). Well that was people’s angriness. A professional banker Mr. Saleh said to me, “KESC administration is illiterate. Our country is full of natural resources. We have precious resource water which is present in a huge quantity in our country. We can make electricity from it but we don’t. Because to make electricity, we must have to set up plants then who set up the plants? Government doesn’t take interest. If it gives funds then KESC eats it.”

A 2nd year student Adeel said, “I pray for KESC that it must be destroyed forever and all the employees die like a dog. They don’t feel the people’s pain. They are not performing their duty. They are just taking free salaries and doing nothing. In exams, study in load shading is just like to give your hand in the lion’s mouth. It is too difficult and painful to study in load shading and effected our preparation.” Many people protest against this load shading. Every year you definitely hear news that mob burn the KESC’s vehicle, tires on the road and blocked it, attacked on the KESC’s offices. KECS admin always says that we are renewing the system, we have short-fall problem, old wires, can’t buy furnace oil to save money, bla bla bla bla.

So, what do you say guys? What are your opinions about our lovely load shading and KESC? I know that load shading is not only the problem of Karachi, now it has become a major problem in the whole country. I know you all have angriness as well as some has helpful suggestions that from which methods we can make our electricity system better and better. So, whatever in your mind, say it. After all, you will feel so light to say all the blabber which is in your heart. I will respect all your abuses, opinions as well as suggestions :-).

Another Blasphemous Campaign Of Facebook - Everybody burn Quran day (Nauzobillah)

Facebook is supporting another new campaign and developed another blasphemous page called “Everybody burn Quran day” (Nauzobillah). This page has been developed by Rahul Malhotra (I don’t know more about him and from which country does he belong) and according to the last information I got, 2,430 people around the world liked this page so far. This page contains hundreds of insulting photos on Quran, Muslims and Islam.

The page contains a display of a girl who holds the Holy Book Quran in her right hand and a burning candle in her left hand just shows that now she is going to burn the Holy Book. The message under this display which is mentioned is “They preach that Islam is religion of peace and freedom which is a hypocrisy in reality. So as long as this hypocrisy goes, this fire is on Quran and I will continue to do so for unlimited time. Made by Rahul Malhotra”

At this page, a battle of discussion is also continue between Muslims and blasphemous non-Muslims. Islam haters are abusing the religion and Muslims are trying to support and also abusing these blasphemous people. Also, the blasphemous fans of this page keep continuing the postings of insulting pics on Islam and Quran.

Government of Pakistan blocked facebook before earlier from 9th May to 30th May 2010 as a result of a blasphemous page “everybody draw Mohammad day” which was created on facebook. Now, facebook did it again. It supported such type of blasphemy. The courage of these rascals increases just because they know that Muslims can not take it seriously.

So what are the Muslims waiting for? Leave facebook as soon as possible and protest against this blasphemy throughout the world. Also, the government of Pakistan should block facebook forever in Pakistan. Pakistani Government should think that if it blocks all the sms and emails in which people make fun of the president Zardari then why can it not block forever facebook in which these satanic and mindly sick people make fun of our religion, Quran and Allah?

I try to open and view this page but I think it is not opening in Pakistan because this page has restrictions. If Pakistani internet users want to view that page then open Google in your browser, type “everybody burn Quran day” and search. The very first result in the SERPs is of that blasphemous page. On the right side of it, click on “cached” link then you can view this page. So view it and get angry. Delete your facebook accounts as I have deleted my account too. Protest against this and create a sparked violence in your heart. Enemies of Islam only fear from one thing and that is the Muslim’s unity. So join hands, get united and defeat them. In front of Muslim’s power, they are nothing.

Salam Ramadan 2010

It is related to Hazrat Abu Hurairah (R.A.A) that the Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (S.A.W) said, “When the month of Ramadan comes, the Gates of Heaven are opened and Gates of Hell are shut down and the devils are tied with chains”. (Bukhari and Muslim).

Ramadan is the 9th month in Islamic calendar. The purpose of this Holy month is to avoid a Muslim from those habits which he has acquired throughout the year. It is a month in which Muslims beware of some acts like eating, drinking and fulfilling their desires. The moto is that if a Muslim can control these desires in this month which are normally permissible for him than he can definitely control himself from other desires which are strictly forbidden in Islam.

Ramadan gives a golden chance to every Muslim to connect and keep closer to Allah by reaping many rewards that lie in this Holy month. The main significance of this Holy month is Fasting. When a Muslim keeps him away from eating and drinking for a limited time just for Allah then he surely gains unlimited success of never-ending life in heaven. Remember that Fasting doesn’t only mean to beware of eating and drinking, but also refrain from many other bad things and habits such as fighting, backbiting, abusing, using slang language, etc. The Holy Prophet (S.A.W) said, “Whoever does not give up false statements (i.e. telling lies), and evil deeds, and speaking bad words to others, Allah is not in need of his (fasting) leaving his food and drink" (Bukhari). In another Hadith, He said, “If one of you is fasting, he should avoid sexual relation with his wife and quarreling, and if somebody should fight or quarrel with him, he should say, 'I am fasting'" (Bukhari).

The moto of Fasting is to attain righteousness (called “Taqwa” in urdu) in Muslims which means to fear from Allah and to obey His every command. So Fasting in 30 days of this Holy month mean that it is a command of Allah for Muslims that is followed. It is proved by this Hadith in which the Prophet (S.A.W) indicated, “Allah said, all the deeds of Adam's sons (people) are for them, except fasting which is for Me, and I will give the reward for it.” Fasting will also become our source of protection in the Day of Judgment. On the day when we will be collected in one place to give an account for our every good and bad deed that we are done in this world. On that time, Fasting will save us from hell. A Hadith confirms it more in which the Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W) said, "Fasting is a shield or protection from the fire and from committing sins" (Bukhari).

In the importance of Fasting in Ramadan, The Holy Prophet (S.A.W) more said, "Paradise has eight gates, and one of them is called Ar-Raiyan through which none will enter but those who observe fasting." The Prophet also said, "If a person spends two different kinds of something (for Allah's cause), he will be called from the gates of Paradise" (Bukhari).

Another important factor that discriminate Ramadan from other months is the advent of the Night of Lailat-ul-Qadr. The Night is said to be the one in which Allah writes the decree of His creation. In Quran, Allah says, "The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of their Lord, with all decrees. (That night is) Peace until the rising of the dawn." (3 – 5, Surah Al-Qadr).

So, the Holy month of Ramadan 2010 has been started with its shower of blessings. Ramadan Mubarak to all of you from me. May Allah make our every Fast of this Ramadan a shield of protection from hell and its fire. May Allah make this month as an intercessor for us in the grave. May Allah not make us like those people who do not get any blessing and virtue from their fasts except for hunger and thirst and may Allah guide us towards making this Ramadan as a source for gathering numerous and unlimited blessings and getting our all major and minor sins forgiven. Aameen.

Spain - The FIFA World Champion 2010

Spain became the FIFA World Cup Football Champion 2010 first time in the history after defeating Netherland by 1 – 0 in the final. The match was played in the Soccer City Stadium of Johannesburg on 12th July 2010. Before this, these two teams never won any world cup. Netherland had played the finals of 1974 and 1978 world cups before but couldn’t win and remained unlucky this time too. But Spain got the place in final and also became champion first time.
When the match started then the players of both teams attacked many times on the goal sides of each other and wasted several confirmed goal chances. Also, the players were looking so ruthless and angry and it was feeling that now players would start to fight with each other. Sometimes any Dutch player pulled down the Spanish and sometimes Spanish did the same. That’s why yellow card was shown 8 times to the Dutch team and 5 times to the Spanish which is a record. Also, the match referee Howard Webb showed red card to the Dutch defender John Heitinga with a second caution in the 109th minute of the match.

Both teams strived hardly to score the goal but remained unsuccessful. At last, the time was up and extra 30 minutes were given to the match. The match was becoming so exciting after spending every moment. At the 116th minute of the match, Spanish midfielder Andres Iniesta scored the maiden and winning goal of the match after beautiful pass of Fabregas. That was the outside hit but referee didn’t see it. Dutch players protested on this situation to the referee but he had confirmed the goal. This triumph of Spain remained till the end of the match.

Before this match, the famous octopus of Paul Allen had also predicted the victory of Spain. So one more prediction became true. With this historical victory, Spain became the World Cup Football Champion for the next 4 years. This victory was celebrated with sensational fireworks in front of 84,000 audience. The coach of Spanish team Vicente del Bosco told media that “the match was very difficult. We deserved the victory and we know that people in all region of Spain supported us. Dutch team fought marvelously and in some sense, they tied our hands. We played a very tense game and won.”

Paul's Octopus – The Football Predictor

The mega event of World Cup Football 2010 will always be remembered in the history for an amazing reason. And that reason is the prediction of an octopus. This octopus predicts about the winning team before the match. It correctly and consecutively predicted the result of semi final between Germany and Spain. Before this match, its prediction about the quarter final between Germany and Argentina has also been correct.

Due to accurate and true predictions about world cup football matches, the octopus is become the spotlight in the world and has been generated worldwide attention. This octopus belongs to an astrologer of Germany named Paul Allen. It has been  accurately predicted all six matches of Germany in the football world cup so far.

The test of prediction which is performed in the Sea Life Aquarium of Oberhauser (Germany) contains two acrylic boxes with the national flags of each team and some mussels which is the food of octopus. The hungry octopus picks its food from one of both boxes then it is considered that this selected team will win the match.

Holland Eliminated Brazil - A Historical Upset

On July 2nd, 2010, in the first quarter final of world cup football match, Holland defeated the most hard, feared and the five times world champion Brazil by 2 – 1 and eliminated it from the world cup football event. This was not only a very big disappointing but also a great upset in the world cup football history. The dream of Brazil to take the world cup sixth time has been shattered. All the Brazilian fans hurt including me because Brazil is always my full time favorite team too.

In this quarter final, all the expectations were with Brazil that it would defeat Netherland. When the match started then both teams played well. They attacked on the goals side of each other many times. In the 10th minute of the match, Brazil got the success when its dangerous striker Robinho scored a fantastic goal on the beautiful pass of Felipe Melo. This vantage of Brazil took over Netherland till the end of first half.

In the second half, the Dutch team came back into the match dramatically. This fast come back became successful for the Dutch team when in the 53rd minute, its player Sneijder scored the goal by kicking the ball which fell into the net after skidding off the head of Felipe Melo and leveled the score 1 – 1. The amazing thing happened in the 68th minute when the Dutch team took over the game. The same player Sneijder scored the second goal on a header from a free kick and then finally the Dutch team became successful to make impossible to possible.

In the last moments of the match, the Brazilian players became so emotional and tried to level the score as much as possible but remained unsuccessful. And then match winded up with the historical victory of Holland which was the amazing upset. The coach of Brazilian team Dunga resigned from their post after this breakdown. The hilarious fight back of the Dutch team in the second half is definitely able to appreciate. Now Holland will face Uruguay in the first semi final which will be played on 6th July 2010. It is true that Brazil is a tough team but in Football, everything can happen. This is an amazing game.

Facts of Life

1. Some unrefusable facts of today’s world. Today:
      •  We have “bigger houses” but “small families”.
      • “More degrees” but “less common sense”.
      • “Advance medicines” but “poor health”.
      • “Touched moon” but “no contact with neighbor”.
      • “High income” but “less peace of mind”.
Because today, we believe in Allah but “we don’t obey Allah”.

2. In a daily life, you find 100% what you are looking for. But the only thing that matter is “what you choose to find”.

3. A negative thinker always sees a difficulty in every opportunity. But a positive thinker always sees an opportunity in every difficulty.

4. Two types of people are always failed in the life. One those who do not listen to anybody and second those who listen to everybody.

5. Do not make your aims like a garden because everyone walks on it. Make your aims like the sky so that everyone wishes to touch it.

6. A leaf which falls from the tree is always on the mercy of wind. It goes wherever the wind takes it. So be the wind to drive others. Not the leaf to be driven by others.

7. Love + Care = Mother
    Love + Fear = Father
    Love + Help = Sister
    Love + Fight = Brother
    Love + Life = Wife
    Love + Care + Fear + Help + Fight + Life = FRIEND
Dedicated to my all "SINCERE FRIENDS"

8.  Due to wealth, human forgets himself and without wealth, people forget him.

9. The company of good people is like a shop of perfume. Whether you buy the perfume or not, you will receive a lot of fragrance from there.

10. When people walk away from you, stop them once. If still they do not stop, let them go. Your destiny is never tied to anybody who leaves you and it also doesn’t mean that they are bad people. It’s just that their part in the story is over.
But people who stay with you, who do not leave you and would always stand by your side are the ones who you actually need. They love you and care for you. They play may be a small but an important part in your life. Dedicated to all those who were and who are the part of my small world.

Cyclone "Phet" in Karachi

After creating huge, unclear and unlimited damages and disruption in the province of Balochistan, the direction of cyclone “Phet” was moved to Karachi (biggest city of Pakistan and also where I live) at Sunday evening (6th June 2010).

Before arriving in Karachi, the Phet badly hit Balochistan on Saturday. Pakistan Meteorological Department said that due to its influence, it rained heavily in all the coastal areas of Balochistan including Gawadar (70 mm), Jiwani (208 mm), Pasni (127 mm), Turbat (63 mm), etc. According to facts and figure, over 500,000 people affected from this cyclone.

Heavy rain had also begun in Karachi at Saturday late night (from almost 2 to 4 a.m) due to influence of cyclone when it was 200 km away from beach of Karachi. I was in my apartment’s balcony and viewing the sight of rain. There were nor electricity except light of clouds. No sound except sound of heavy rain and thunder of clouds. Also, Rain was continuing from time to time till the next day (Sunday) just before entering cyclone to Karachi.

It was expecting that Phet would hit Karachi between 7 to 8 p.m. including gusts of wind with maximum 60 miles per hour. But with a kind of Allah, the cyclone passed without hitting Karachi and moved to interior areas of Sindh including Thatta, Bhanbhor and Ghaaro. There, heavy rain with strong gusts of wind and gale started and till the last news I got, the disruption is still continue.

Like past, also this time, Allah protected the city Karachi from the cyclone, but due to the heavy rain from last night, atleast 10 people died in different incidents from rainfall in which mostly due to electrocution. 2 to 3 foot rainwater is present not only at the roads but also at the roundabouts, beneath underpasses and overhead bridges. City District Government of Karachi has started to flush out the water.

History told us that whenever such type of cyclones are created, Allah always keeps the city Karachi safe from them. Although the city is almost in the route of those cyclones but just before arriving them, their direction is changed naturally. People said and believe that it happens due to the miracles and tombs of different Sufi Saints which are situated in different areas of the city.

60% Facebook Users Are Thinking To Leave

According to a latest survey conducted by an IT security firm called Sophos, 60% Facebook members are thinking to quit the popular social networking site due to privacy concerns. After taking the opinions of 1,588 Facebook users in a poll, it is revealed that the majority of members have serious issues on its privacy settings. In this online survey, almost two thirds of Facebook users showed that they are thinking to leave in which 16% claimed that they have already stopped using Facebook due to a result of inadequate control over their data.Only recently, Facebook has been criticized over changes on how it can share user data across its site and with other websites.

Sophos said concerns have centered on the complexity and the "opt-out" approach to sharing member information with wider networks. Media reports suggest that Facebook is planning to announce changes to its privacy settings within the next few days, but it is unclear as to whether any changes will be substantial enough to address user concerns.

Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant at Sophos, commented that the poll only shows that majority of users are "fed up" with the lack of control that Facebook gives users over their data. "Most still don't know how to set their Facebook privacy options safely, finding the whole system confusing," Cluley said, adding what is needed is a fundamental shift towards asking users to "opt-in" to sharing information, rather than to "opt-out."

In response to the criticisms of Facebook's privacy policy, a number of campaigns, including a "Quit Facebook Day" have been launched to increase public awareness of the issues. "A mass exodus from Facebook seems unlikely, but Facebook members are clearly getting more interested in knowing precisely who can view their data," Cluley said.

He continued that "people use Facebook to share private information and are unlikely to want their holiday snaps or new mobile number accidentally popping up all over the internet. With this survey showing that only 24% of users aren't thinking about quitting, Facebook will need to make sure further changes to the privacy policy are clear, concise and in the interest of making it easier for members to know exactly who has access to whatever they chose to upload."

During the online survey, Sophos asked Facebook users the question "Do you think you will quit Facebook over privacy concerns?" And the results varied from: Possibly, 30%; highly likely, 30%; already have, 16%; no, 12%; and don't think likely at 12%.

Facebook - An Offensive Act

On 20th May 2010, a page with name “Everybody draw Mohammad day” on well-known social media site facebook promoted a competition which encourages the users to draw and post the images of the Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W). This game of playing with Muslim’s sentiments and emotions is completely supported by facebook’s administration.

This action has sparked violent protests in the Muslims globally. In Pakistan, on May 19, 2010, government ordered all the internet service provider of the country to block facebook as an angry reaction to hit Muslim’s emotions. The page on the social networking site has generated criticism in Pakistan and elsewhere because Islam prohibits any images of the prophet. The government took action after a group of Islamic lawyers won a court order Wednesday requiring officials to block Facebook until 31st May.

Protest against the courage of this satanic group is not limited till Pakistan. The other Muslim countries around the globe including Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, U.A.E., Saudi Arabia are also promoted to be the next in the group of blocking nations. A spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations said the idea behind the group was offensive.

According to BBC, facebook has faced big loss of 2 billion euros so far in last two days. And Mark Zuckerberg (CEO of facebook) will bear much more loss in future due to less traffic and user activities that will hardly affect his business.

Mimi Sulpovar, who is an American and started this satanic group at Facebook, said that she read about the idea on a blog after Comedy Central bleeped out part of an episode of “South Park” that mentioned the prophet. The whole campaign has been taken up by Muslim-bashers and Islamophobes.

Sulpovar denied being anti-Muslim and said: “If it’s offensive to you, that’s fine, but I don’t feel it’s right to impose your belief on others through intimidation. This is nothing to do with hate or bigotry. Nobody is creating violence or preaching open hatred towards individuals.” She also said: “I received hundreds of e-mails from people trying to explain this to me.” Finally while being confident on her rude act, she said: “Islam is not above criticism or cartoons. I believe in equality, and censoring Mohammed while we can draw every other figure in the world does not equal equality.”

Later that after some hours, a Seattle based cartoonist Molly Norris who drew cartoons of Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W) and is also the part of this group apologized from Muslims on her drawing. On her website http://www.mollynorris.com (currently banned in Pakistan), she said that “I did not declare 20th May as “Everybody Draw Mohammad Day”. I neither started this group of facebook nor set up any place for people to send drawings and I never received any drawings. I extremely apologize to the Muslims of the world to hurt their faith and belief.”

Tradekey - A Remarkable Achievement

Tradekey and Alibaba are the two very well established and top most B2B portals in the world which are accepted world wide on international level. These two portals are working hard to provide better and better services to their customers. Either it is sales or marketing, customer support strategies or search engine optimization, in every field, both portals are trying as their best to satisfy their respective customers. In spite of this, the worth of Alibaba is higher than Tradekey.
As everyone knows that Search Engine Optimization is one of the most important part of B2B online business. Without getting traffic on your site, you can’t run a successful online business. The SEO department of both portals understands this important responsibility and working hard with their best possible efforts to increase the traffic on their sites by back links, SEO friendly contents, online marketing, etc.
When we talk about B2B portals and SEO, the name of PageRank appears in our minds. PageRank shows that how much the web site or web page is relatively important. In simple you can say that it measures the importance of a web page. This importance is based on not only your trade relevant back links but also the quality of your web page’s content that other people want to link. Google assigns this method of ranking to all the web pages it crawls. Its value is from 0 to 10 and this value increases with the increase of your web page’s quality. Alibaba and Tradekey, the PageRank of both portals was 7/10. But at the starting of the year 2010, The PageRank of Tradekey increased one more digit and became 8/10. It just became possible due to the hardworking of the SEO department of Tradekey. Although, the worth and investment of Alibaba is relatively higher than Tradekey and it has 20,000 plus employees in all over the world but Tradekey has extremely better talent than Alibaba and just because of their talented people, Tradekey defeated Alibaba in the Google’s most important method of measuring importance of a web site which shows that the quality of Tradekey is better than Alibaba and today, Alhamdolillah Tradekey is standing with the world’s most popular websites like Orkut, Paypal, Adidas, Amazon, Hotmail, etc. which have the PageRank 8.
Tradekey made it possible. There is no doubt that this portal is full of talent and Tradekey always relies on its talented people instead of depending on its worth or investment. Insha Allah this talent keeps working with its efforts and mind and the quality of the portal keeps increasing day by day because Tradekey believes on a sentence of Henry Ford in which he said, “The only real security that a man can have in this world is a reserve of knowledge, experience and ability”.
